Frequently Asked Questions

Q: What happens in the first session?
A: In our first session, we’ll discuss what brought you here and what changes you want to see in your life. It’s a safe space where you can share whatever you’re comfortable with, and together, we’ll start to map out a plan for your healing journey.

Q: Where do sessions take place?
A: I offer in-person sessions in my North Sydney office, which has a beautiful garden view. However, if you prefer, we can also meet online via Zoom.

Q: How often will we meet?
A: Everyone’s needs are different. We may start with weekly sessions and then move to fortnightly or monthly as you progress.

Q: How long is each session, and how much does it cost?
A: The cost of a session varies depending on whether it is online or in person and the duration. A 90-minute in-person session costs $190, while an online session costs $160. Additionally, I offer a 60-minute in-person session for $130 and an online session for $110. This session length and format variety allow us to tailor the experience to your needs.

Q: Is therapy confidential?
A: Yes, everything we discuss is 100% confidential. I follow the ethical guidelines of the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA).

Q: Do I need a referral from my GP?
A: You don't need a referral. Please feel free to reach out to me directly to book a session.

Q: How do I get started?
A: I suggest beginning with a free phone consultation. This allows us to get to know each other, discuss your needs, and see if we are a good fit to work together.
